Baseball Regional Time

The Diamond Hogs are heading to Norman, Oklahoma for their regional tomorrow, and it actually works out ok for them given the fact that the Hogs swept Washington State earlier this year and beat the Oklahoma Spooners in their only meeting at Baum Stadium earlier as well. Given these wins were during a time when Arkansas was playing pretty well, and we all know that hasn't been the case lately as the Hogs struggled down the stretch and went 2-2 in the SEC tourney. So, they're not actually peaking right now.

Hopefully though the Hogs will enter the regional confident from the fact of going a combined 4-0 against WSU and OU and will get their mojo back and roll to a regional title this weekend. It's a lovely 3 - 3 1/2 hour drive to Norman so ice down the cooler, gas up your yugo, and head to red dirt country this weekend and enjoy some college baseball if you can. Andy Wilkins guarantees five home runs for you.
